About Us

The Ocular Restoration Clinic is an Ophthalmologist- Ocularist consultation clinic dedicated to quality
custom-made medical grade acrylic ocular prosthesis.

We provide the utmost patient care to better improve our patients' quality of life. We personally customize each prosthesis until we meet complete customer satisfaction. We are focused on the comfort and appropriate fit of the prosthesis and take personal interest in detailed aesthetic appeal.

 

 

The clinic, located south of Buffalo, New York, is equipped to serve ophthalmic patients who experience enucleation; evisceration; or anophthalmic socket, and microphthalmic, phthisical, or traumatic eyes.

 

Originally founded in in 1960 by LaDonna Swan, our Ocularists have over 75 years of cumulative experience.

Our Board Certified Ocularists have treated thousands of patients from all over the world who have suffered from
severe eye injuries or deformities and who have benefited significantly from a professionally created ocular prosthesis.

 

Through experience we have found that the best suited candidates for our prosthesis are those treated for enucleation,

evisceration, phthisical or microthalmic eyes. Patients treated for full globe, exophthalmos and buphthalmos eyes are

marginal candidates.
